That's right ladies and gentlemen. I get to bring my incredibly slow car onto one of the coolest race tracks in the world. I am doing an HPDE day with an instructor through the BMW CCA. I am so unbelievably pumped, and am interested to see what happens when you give a somewhat modded V6 Mustang a kilometer to get up to speed.

Break what? The car or the track? It would probably be cheaper for me to break the car! They sent us a price list of what everything costs if you damage it, and its terrifying. And surprisingly the Mustang has held up to about a dozen track days with really no problems.

Yea I am lucky to live in Houston so I have the opportunity to drive it. Track days are a very fun, very expensive habit. I highly recommend them.

Are you running the track day too? I remember you working there. I'm bringing my hair dresser special Mustang. It's the old V6 so only 210 HP from the factory. I've modded it to put down 207 HP at the wheels last time it was dynoed. But it will go around a corner pretty well.
